Sophie and Mr. Squirrel's Invitation

Mr. Squirrel is trusting Sophie enough to take her on a field trip to where he works: the Acorn Factory. It’s a busy place where squirrels prepare for winter. Some squirrels search for acorns. Some haul them in. Some peel the tops off. Everyone has a job to do—and Mr. Squirrel is the boss who helps the whole factory run smoothly.

As Sophie watches and learns, she begins to understand something important: chores aren’t just “work.” They’re how we help our family and our friends. And when everyone does their part, everyone has enough.
